The necklace, first seen on Queen Elizabeth II, is a four-row pearl choker with a diamond clasp. This necklace was worn by late Princess Diana and Kate.

According to Leslie Field, author of The Queen's Jewels, the necklace was made from pearls reportedly given to Queen Elizabeth by Japan in the 1970s.
Now, almost 40 years later, the necklace was spotted on Catherine at Prince Philip's funeral last year.
